Leonard C. Green, Chairman and Founder of The Green Group, began his accounting career in 1968 as a staff accountant with the firm Deloitte Touche. He rose to the management level before departing the firm in 1973. Mr. Green no longer wanted to work for someone else.  Instead he started his own practice.

 

The firm began in Matawan, NJ and after a few years of growth moved to its current location in Woodbridge, NJ.

Since the founding, the firm has specialized in client services of closely held businesses, family businesses, thoroughbred businesses, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals and their families. Currently, the firm operates under the name The Green Group.

In 2011 the firm went through an organizational structure shift, forming niche groups to better serve our clientele. Each of the niches consist of managers and staff members who are dedicated and well versed in each of the respective areas.
