Feli joined The Green Group as a Staff Accountant in February 2019, during the peak of tax season.
Her primary duties and responsibilities involve organizing and coordinating client data to complete tax returns accurately and on time. Feli prepares tax returns for a variety of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, S corporations, and gift tax filings. Her other responsibilities include filing quarterly payroll reports, preparing sales tax filings, monthly bookkeeping, tax projections and estimated tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, and other assigned tasks.
Prior to joining The Green Group, Feli worked as a Staff Accountant at public accounting firms in New York, where she specialized in tax services for clients in the medical field and other small businesses.
Earlier in her career, Feli served as a financial analyst in the export and import division of the fashion industry in New York, where she managed client relationships across multiple countries.
Feli earned her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from Southwestern University in the Philippines. She also completed the Computerized Accounting Certificate Program at Middlesex County College. Most recently, she became an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
In her free time, Feli enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, walking, and visiting the beach during the summer.
