John Wollenberg has 35 years of experience in all areas of tax law, including high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, LLCs, corporations, trusts, estate tax and planning, and personal financial and retirement planning.

He is a Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and New York and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.

John is also admitted to the New York Bar and the United States Tax Court and is a former member of the New York Bar Association. He has served as an Adjunct Professor of Taxation at Fairleigh Dickinson University, authored various tax articles—including a book titled Pension Plans for Small and Mid-Sized Businesses—and has appeared as a guest on several cable television programs. He has also earned the AICPA designation of Personal Financial Specialist.

John graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, majoring in Accounting. He also earned a Master of Business Administration from INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.

He recently rejoined The Green Group after working twelve years as a Tax Director with a regional CPA firm. Outside of work, John enjoys spending time with his family.
